Without limits is the story of Steve Prefontaine (Billy Crudrup), an American running legend. The movie details the rise to fame of “Pre” as his fans call him, concentrating heavily on his relationship with his coach and Nike founder, Bill Bowerman (Donald Sutherland). Pre is a unique character, demanding an audience, and finding it with the American public. His hard-headedness and refusal to be second best carries Pre all the way to the Olympic games, where his stubbornness costs him the ultimate prize. |
