Author Weldon Parrish (Harvey Keitel) hasn’t written a book in many years. He is old and grumpy with a dour outlook on life. The one bright spot he allows himself is Isabella (Claire Forlani) his beautiful daughter. Jeremy Taylor (Joshua Jackson) is an editor for a publishing company. His company is looking for another best-seller so they tell Jeremy to find Parrish and get another book. Jeremy tracks him down in Tuscany. He tries to begin a friendship with Parrish but is unable to connect with the unfriendly writer. However, he does begin to fall for lovely Isabella. She may be the connection to both men will eventually lead to a friendship. As they grow to know each other, a new book begins to take shape. |
