A run for Governor by a criminal attorney is in jeopardy when a journalist (Jesse Metcalfe) suspects him of evidence tampering in his years of practice. Mark Hunter (Michael Douglas) put criminals in jail for a living and he looks like a cinch to win the election. Can his record be held up to serious scrutiny? The reporter sets himself up as a suspect in a murder in hopes of catching the two in the act and revealing their true mode of operation. The reporter’s girlfriend Ella Crystal (Amber Tamblyn) is an Assistant DA and has no clue about her boyfriend’s assignment. She is grave danger as the evidence mounts against the two lawyers and she holds their fate in her hands. |
