Set in the distant future, Sargent Todd (Kurt Russel) is a soldier who was selected at birth to become an ultimate soldier. He is tested against the newer, younger replacement models and loses the fight and is left for dead on another partially colonized planet. The peaceful people of this planet teach Todd about their way of life, but then the peace is shattered as the new soldiers invade this community. This is a battle of “better” versus “experience” as Sargent Todd tries to protect his community of new friends in a fierce battle on a their distant planet in which he must use everything he knows as a soldier and a citizen to save them. |
