Brüno, a gay Austrian TV personality, finds himself out of a job after committing a faux pas at a major fashion show in Milan. Deciding to stage a comeback, Brüno heads to the US to become famous in America. The film chronicles his journey as he tries everything he possibly can to become a major hollywood star, including pitching a TV show in which he interviews celebrities and adopting an African baby. This mockumentary by Sascha Baron Cohen is hilarious, with some disturbing moments which look unsparingly at American culture. |
