"The Adventures Of Ichabod And Mr. Toad" is a compilation of two classic stories retold in animated form. The first is ‘The Adventures of Mr. Todd’, which is based on the story of the ‘The Wind in the Willows’ where J. Thaddeus Toad (Eric Blore), owner of Toad Hall loves new inventions and fads and when he stumbles upon one that can put him in danger, it’s up to his friends Mole (Colin Campbell), Rat (Claud Allister) and Badger (Campbell Grant) to save him. The second is the classic horror story of ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ that tells the story of a school teacher Ichabod Crane (Bing Crosby) who becomes deeply in love with Katrina Van Tassel. Ichabod attends a party thrown by her father and there Katrina’s other suitor, Brom Bones (Bing Crosby) who tries to intimidate Ichabod with the tale of the Headless Horseman. However on his way home from the party Ichabod is confronted by the vengeful spirit and must out run him on horseback.
