Joey (Frank Sinatra,) is a selfish but charming San Francisco singer who dreams of opening his own nightclub someday. He's not the kind of guy to stick with any one girl for long, but then he meets Linda the chorus girl (Kim Novak) and finds himself actually falling for her. But, Joey being Joey, he doesn't let his feelings for Linda get in the way of his romance with Vera (Rita Hayworth,) a wealthy and gorgeous widow with the means to make Chez Joey a reality. |
