An unnamed video store clerk (Jason Ritter) is in his late 20s and is feeling the pressure of getting older. Stuck in a small town and working an hourly-wage job, he is lonely and broke. However, his increasingly boring days at work are brightened when a young woman (Marianna Palka) starts coming into his store to rent adult films. He is intrigued, yet she wants nothing to do with him. Determined to get the attention of this woman, he tries to court her in an unusual way: he finds her information in the store’s database, gathers up his own personal collection of pornography, and invites himself over to her house. Over time, the two develop a complicated relationship. |
