The movie "My Life" revolves around the life - and death - of Bob Jones (Michael Keaton). Jones is, in most ways, a normal man. He is, however dealing with a terminal disease which will, sooner or later, lead to his death. He and his pregnant wife Gail (Nicole Kidman) decide that, to help cope with the loss and to give their future child a keepsake of his father, they will tape Bob's life. Helped through this emotional adventure by a Chinese medicine man (Haing Ngor), Bob learns the value of reconciliation and forgiveness as he attempts to come to peace with his inevitable demise.
