Thea Dixon (Lindsay Lohan) had a bad day at work. It was a really bad day. To avoid getting fired, she thought fast on her feet, meaning she really wasn't thinking at all. Trying to play on the sympathies of her boss and play off of some pretty strict federal employment laws, she announces she's pregnant. It's an easy lie to tell in the heat of the moment. But when the reaction from co-workers stirs something inside her, her plan to keep playing pretend with the pregnancy becomes the challenge of a lifetime. Trying to woo a new love, who winds up being her birthing coach, is only one of the predicaments she faces as she tries to carry out her scheme of carrying a baby for a whole nine months. |
