John Ridley (Til Schweiger) is a down on his luck ex-bodyguard whose life is in ruins following a botched assignment in which his client is killed by renowned international assassin Lee Maxwell (Chazz Palminteri), ruining Ridley's reputation and career as a protector. While trying to rebuild his life, Ridley takes on the job of protecting the very man who destroyed his own life, when Maxwell becomes very valuable as the key witness in an impeding trial in Barcelona, Spain. The two men develop a tense camaraderie when their shared experience explodes at the hands of another assassin who's out to remove Maxwell before he can testify at trial. |
