Pilot Mark Winston is handsome, stalwart and true. Millions of women have gone dreamy over him - including his creator, novelist Kit Madden (Claudette Colbert), who's heading to Hollywood to turn her bestseller into a film. On the train she meets a real-life Marine pilot (John Wayne). Kit thinks he's the perfect man to portray her screen hero... if only he didn't think Mark and her book were "a lot of hooey."
